But if you’ve rented an island campsite, and you’re going there in a tandem canoe or kayak, and you’re 13 years of age or older, and you don’t live at the same address as the people in your watercraft, well, you do have to submit your vaccination passport. it is only the activity of canoeing and kayaking with two or more people that is regulated. Yes, whether it is a personal or rented tandem canoe or kayak, the vaccination passport will be required if the participants in the watercraft are 13 years of age or older and live at different addresses.

No. The vaccination passport will not be required for clients planning a trip on the reservoir in these watercraft, as they can only accommodate one person. This logic applies if the watercraft is rented or personal.

Yes, this is permitted.

This is possible. However, for safety reasons, it is strongly recommended to be an experienced paddler to do this activity. Please keep in mind that many of our sites are located more than 4 hours away by canoe.

If you are a beginner paddler, we advise you to opt for a solo kayak. To better plan your solo kayak trip, don’t hesitate to call us at 819-767-2999.

Yes, people who have a clinical contraindication to vaccination against covid-19 will have to provide proof of this contraindication. The Quebec government is currently working on integrating the fact of having contraindications to vaccination into the proof of vaccination.
