The Grand-Pic is the cabin located at the tip of Pointe de la Truite. Designed by l’Atelier L’Abri architecture studio, this building is optimized to comfortably welcome 4 people (2 queen beds), in a compact, efficient, aesthetically pleasing living space with nature at your doorstep. You’ll fall for its terrace and outdoor stairs that stretch along the building’s entire length. It’s bay window facing due west will give you front-row seats to spectacular sunsets. You’ll also be enthralled by its minimal and functional interior design, despite its 215 square feet of surface area. If you get the itch to be outside day and night, no problem! The summer bed on the second level of the terrace will allow you to enjoy the summer breeze for a nap or good night’s sleep.
The Grand-Pic can accommodate up to 4 adults (2 couples), or 2 adults and 2 children. The refuge is only accessible on foot, skis or snowshoes. To get there in the summer, you can use one of our transport carts, and in the winter, one of our sleds. You’ll be able to take advantage of the welcome center’s equipment and watercraft rentals for your daily activities.
