1. New Welcome Pavilion Under Construction: Restrooms, Shop and Café

The welcome pavilion is finally getting an upgrade! This project has been long-awaited, as the old outhouses near the entrance have served their time. Starting in 2026, a full-service restroom facility (toilets and showers), a new shop, and a café area will be available to visitors of Poisson Blanc all year round. In addition, a multipurpose room will be added to host community activities and school groups on outdoor field trips to the Park.

3. Poisson Blanc Conservation Fund

To support our conservation mission, the Park has created the Poisson Blanc Conservation Fund. The idea is simple: give ourselves the means that align with our ambitions and implement projects with a high environmental impact in the Park area, like the current project with Carleton University.
